Werner Smets has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, having started out as a researcher at KBC Asset Management in 1991. In 2000 he left KBC to set up Vector Asset Management, where he is Managing Partner and Investment manager. Smets manages global equity funds with a highly rationalized investment style. He studied at the University of Antwerp, the University of Louvain-La-Neuve, Leuven/Vlerick and the University of California. His primary Degree subject was economics.
Thierry Vandeghinste has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, having started out at Coopers & Lybrand and having worked for McKinsey & Co on corporate finance projects. Since 2007 he has worked at Vector Asset Management where he is Managing Partner and Investment manager for global equity funds. He holds a Master in Engineering degree and a Master in Applied Economics degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a MBA-degree from the University of Chicago.
Nils De Wit started his career at Vector Asset Management in 2014, where he supports the portfolio managers in his role as investment analyst. He holds a Master in Applied Economics degree from the University of Antwerp and a Master of Finance degree from the Antwerp Management School.
